Our flour tortillas are made with just four ingredients: wheat flour, water, canola oil, and salt. Extracted from rapeseeds, canola oil is used to add flavor and texture to the tortillas that we use in our soft tacos and burritos. While most of the canola oil in the U.S. is produced from genetically modified seeds, all of the canola oil used to make our tortillas is non-GMO.
It’s Canola, not cannoli. Sorry.
The plant used to produce canola is also used to produce oil for paints and other non-edible applications. But before you get artist-envy, you should know OUR canola is used to make our delicious flour tortillas, AKA the canvas for your favorite (edible, and therefore way cooler) masterpiece.
