We use sunflower oil for its delicate flavor whenever a mild oil is called for—namely for our Carnitas, chips, crispy corn tortillas, and fajita veggies. Our sunflower oil is non-GMO.

Serious flower power
Arguably one of the most intimidating flowers in the world, sunflower plants can grow up to ten feet tall. And as they grow, their yet-to-bloom heads automatically tilt throughout the day to continually face the sun as it passes overhead. That behavior is called heliotropism, and it’s pretty creepy if you think about it.
