Years ago, as part of Chipotle's commitment to sourcing better ingredients, our founder Steve Ells set out to help change the way our partners thought about wheat. This meant moving toward sourcing some organic wheat and away from buying wheat produced with unnecessary enrichments, like bleaching agents, which are used mainly for cosmetic purposes. (We think you’re beautiful just the way you are, wheat.)
